As a key leader at Red & White Multimedia Education, I have been part of the journey of building a skill-focused education ecosystem dedicated to helping students develop practical, industry-relevant skills. Since its early beginnings, our focus has remained on creating meaningful career opportunities through quality education, hands-on learning, and continuous innovation.
What began with a small 135 sq. ft. space has grown into a network of 22+ branches across Gujarat, helping thousands of students build careers in the IT and creative industries. Along the way, we have also supported 250+ aspiring entrepreneurs, helping them turn their skills and ambitions into meaningful professional journeys.
I have also contributed to the growth of Red & White Designing Institute, established in 2008, which has provided certified design education to thousands of learners through its centres in Surat. The journey reflects our broader vision of making skill-based education accessible, practical, and aligned with the changing needs of the industry.

Hitesh Desai and Hasmukh Rafaliya, both from humble farming backgrounds in Saurashtra, met in a college classroom in Surat. While pursuing their education, they began noticing the gap between traditional learning and the practical skills students needed to build successful careers. That shared realization became the foundation of a much bigger vision.
With a vision to transform IT and multimedia education through practical, industry-oriented learning, Hitesh and Hasmukh founded Red & White in Surat. The journey began from a modest 260 sq. ft. workspace on A.K. Road, with just a few computers, limited resources, and a strong determination to create something meaningful.
As the demand for creative and practical career skills grew, Red & White expanded its educational vision beyond IT and multimedia. The launch of Red & White Designing Institute introduced dedicated pathways in Fashion Design and Interior Design, marking an important step toward building a broader creative skill ecosystem.
In 2020, Red & White introduced its FOCO (Franchise Owned, Company Operated) and FOFO (Franchise Owned, Franchise Operated) models. This marked an important step in making the organization's skill-based education accessible across more regions while creating a scalable framework for expanding the Red & White network.
In 2022, Red & White became Red & White Education Private Limited, strengthening its corporate foundation. The organization also achieved NSDC Training Partner affiliation and ISO 9001:2015 certification, while expanding across Gujarat. This growth laid the foundation for the Red & White Skill Education identity introduced in 2025, marking its evolution into a comprehensive skill development ecosystem.
